This is the beach we grew up doing Junior Lifeguards on. The colorful buildings are the "Venetians", and are a classic view. Capitola Beach also has a wharf you can walk down.

Amusement park with rides, cotton candy, and an ocean view. You've got to ride the Giant Dipper - it's the 5th oldest wooden roller coaster in the US!

Come downtown for shopping, restaurants, concert venues, and street artists. Penny Ice Cream, Verve Coffee Roasters, Zoccolis Italian Deli, and Pacific Cookie Company are all top favorites!

Easy, flat walking path with massive redwood trees. Very family friendly. Not a hike.
